HOMEMADE VEGGIE DELIGHT SUBWAY SANDWICH

Subway sandwiches test so much better fresh and made at home. I add these amazing sauces to my sandwich to make it tastier. Try out this recipe at home for a fresh and healthy dinner option. It’s a quick dinner idea for a busy day.

Ingredient:

Romaine lettuce

Plum tomatoes

Canned black Olives

Cucumbers

Jalapeños

Red onions ( for those eat onions)

Olive Oil

Spices (chili flakes, oregano, black pepper and salt)

Chaat Masala

Sauces (Mint Mayo, Chipotle Mayo, Ketchup, Chili Oregano Sauce)

Vegan Mayo

Cheeses (Pepper Jack and American Cheese)

Salted Butter

Fresh Subway bread

I buy my sauces from india and they are without onion and garlic, but you can certainly make them at home just follow the recipe below.

Mint Mayo: 1cup of mint leaves, small piece of organic desi ginger, half of lime, salt and black pepper. Mix it all in jar with 1–2 Tbsp of water. Add the mint chutney/paste to your vegan Mayo and you have your mint Mayo,

Southwest Chipotle Mayo: 1–2 red chipotle chili canned, 1 Tsp paprika, 1 Tsp chipotle chili powder, 1 Tsp Taco Bell mild sauce mix it all in a grinder and add it to tour vegan mayo and you have your chipotle Mayo.

Chili Oregano Sauce: 2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 Tsp red chili paste and 1 Tsp oregano and a pinch of salt, whisk it all together and you have a chili oregano sauce.

Method:

  • Slice the bread and spread butter evenly on both sides.
  • Add three triangle sliced cheese of your choice.
  • Baked it till the cheese melts and the bread is lightly toasted.
  • Add thinly sliced lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, sliced jalapeños, sixes black olives.
  • Add the regular Mayo on the top side of the bread with one line of mint Mayo and one line of southwest Chipotle Mayo.
  • Sprinkled the spices mixed; chili flakes. Oregano, black pepper and salt all over the veggies and sauces.
  • Drizzle some olive oil
  • Sprinkle Chaat masala all over the sandwich
  • Drizzle some chili oregano oil.
  • Safely close the sandwich and slice into two equal portions and served it with your choice of chips.
